Re: ERUNT



Oh yeah, Big Time !  I don't know if you want to call them "power users" or whatnot, but I know that a whole lot of people using Win ever since UAC came along **insist** on turning that crap OFF !  The OS simply becomes intolerable with it running.  I would be curious to see where Flash or other IT folks line up on this, because I think I know . . .  but I could always be wrong.

I use Avast free AV, also in Win-7, and believe I have run ERUNT without problems . . .  though I haven't tried this recently.  I don't recall any special steps being required.

Anyone find a substitute for ERUNT for Win7-8, which will run, but only with
security essentially turned off (an extra step that makes running it at boot
a multi-step affair). I'm trying http://tweaking.com/'s registry backup.
