Speaking of ugly typography... I recently requested samples from LaserMaster of
their typeset quality output, I think it's 1000x10000 resolution. The letters
were all quite nice and smoothly formed, but the overall esthetic effect was so
bad that I decided I'm not interested no matter what the resolution. Whenever
there was a double "o" (as in "look" or "book"), the o's were kissing.
I guess
we'll have to wait a couple of more years for laser output that is actually
typeset quality.
