Re: POSTSCRIPT PRINTERS

The QMS 810 is set up in batch mode, running at 9600 baud with no parity. It is
connected by an Ethernet port to a Vax mini in the basement. There is a print
queue, run by the Vax. This is a new printer - until last week we were using an
Apple LaserWriter with the same setup with no problems. The differences this
time are the printer model (which shouldn't matter) and the printer driver for
the QMS, which is correct. I couldn't find anything wrong with the driver. I
wish I could tell you more about the setup, but our Vax operations people are
very touchy about what we ask them. Only yesterday I reset the parity settings
from "ignored" to "none" so Ventura pages would print OK. Thanks.
