Good point, often overlooked. The 30M count for Windows users is
based on the copies given away with practically every computer
above the cheapest today. Of the copies given away at my
university, I know few people who haven't gotten rid of it. Many
use it, not because they like it, but because they don't know how
to replace it. I wonder if anyone has done a serious survey of
how many people are actually using Windows? I don't believe it
is anywhere near 30M.
