I didn't notice that. I can only explain it by guessing that it is
the PC World editor who is a pre-teen. I imagine they come cheaper.
None of these magazines have been anything like themselves since the
mid-1990s when the Internet took the stuffing out of them.

Not sure why a PC World author would suggest that "Accommodating
legacy code may sound ridiculous...". Is PC World trying to appeal to
preteens?
