Yes: I admit it. Actually I've never attained a complete familiarity with
the potential of *any* application since the bittersweet day when I finally
moved on (to Xy3+) from WordStar 3.3. (And I don't think I'm in a tiny
minority.)
NS reassures my faith in my sanity (if not my faith in XW) when he says
that footnote placement can be a problem. NS again:

It's not that simple: I never double-space my footnotes. However, I'm
grateful for the tip: I do normally (thanks to the FT command, if memory
serves me right) format the notes with a little space (perhaps 0.2 lines)
separating them from each other. I'll try scrapping that.
