Yes.

Not at all! Suppose you're in an office environment (that's what DocInfo is
designed for -- not single users). Suppose several people are working on the
document; the LOGIN name of the most recent contributor, the date/time,
comments, etc. are all appended as DocInfo. You can't just record DocInfo some
of the time, and not others! If you decide to create a DocInfo document, it
stays DocInfo permanently.

Here's a little routine to ADD2U2. DELDI permanently removes DocInfo from the
current file:
