XY-> K.:
XY-> Chet-- Actually Speedo is really a non-issue since using Windows printer

 -> Windows printer drivers Speedos only supplement the character set anyway.

Yes and no, actually. After character 128, Windows and XyWin each
go on their merry way, which is why--for example--there are
three-digit numerals instead of open and close quotes or
apostrophes.

I always figured the digit sequence was done on the basis of the
speedo fonts--so I blame speedo whenever I see characters
represented as digits. (I wouldn't blame TTG.)

UWF 3 works! Unfortunately, it also zaps what should be perfectly
acceptable Windows chars (in graphics mode and ATM 2.6): open &
close quotes, etc., and shows bullets instead.

Interestingly, UWF=3 generates several error messages but allows
XyWin to run (though not in graphics mode) with ATM 3.01.
