That's extremely bizarre -- even all unix variants use a path
statement. In fact it's one of the very nice things admins can use to
regulate users -- simply give them a very limited and unchangeable path
statement. And always also extremely simple to implement.
Just one more reason, I guess, to never, ever go near the (windoze)
water.
