Reactions? Anyone? Oui? Non?
With both versions of darchbit.bat I got really weird behavior when using
4DOS (including it launching Netscape and trying to re-install a random
program I have). But the display version works fine in regular MS-DOS.
Before I change the .bat file to remove the attributes, is there any reason
not to? (I'm not using the archive bit re backups).
I take it this .bat file changes only the archive bit, not system, hidden,
or read-only. In general, is there any reason why any of these attributes
have to be kept turned on?
Thanks.
