Another thought. Here are two other steps I might have used to get rid of that
damn Action Bar:

To neutralize Alt key:

"Put KF in keyboard file at key position. Creates a two-step hotkey. Or NI, to
give XyWrite keboard control (in case of conflict with a TSR)" (I'm these are
the solution for your problem; I think they're for situations in which you have
a lockup problem with a TSR).

See if changing your keybord speed will help:

"In setup file get DF KS= and change the numbers for repeat rate (0 is fastest;
31 is slowest) and lag time (0 is shortest, 3 is longest). See P. 26 in
Customization Guide."

The problem is, I'm not sure which of the total of three solutions I've now
shared with you actually did the trick for me. Somehow, the problem *did* go
away.
