I remembered recently that it is possible to run XY3 as the command shell instead of COMMAND.COM
under DOS. This will work under Win98se too -- I just tried it -- but I can't for the moment work
out how to circumvent w2k's defences and change its own version of COMMAND.COM for EDITOR.EXE The
reason for this circumlocution is that I would like to discover if running EDITOR.EXE directly as
the command shell would evict the stuttering performance of XY in a box under w2k. Can anyone
advise how to test this idea?
Thanks
