I've not been following this thread, so someone else may have mentioned the
printer file as a possible source of the problem. I know that on occasion I
have lost access to the DOS functions in XyWrite (3.55) after replacing a
printer driver or switching printers, since I have a default drive set in
the .prn file invoked by startup.int.
