I know. She didn't say "operation". If she had, there wouldn't have been ten
considered and lengthy -- and polite -- replies, from an assortment of people and
viewpoints, trying to figure out which speller she has! (Yeah, that's snotty.
But, you know, people have a reciprocal obligation to be precise and not impose.)

No. Operation is hard coded in EDITOR.EXE. XPL can't work around it, because
when a misspell is flagged, the hard code takes over and no XPL
instructions are interpreted until EDITOR gets one or more of the particular
keystrokes that it awaits from the keyboard.
