Hi MYron:
I also use both XWin (under win98) and NB (ver 5.5.3). The only
customization I have made deals with the XW.KBD and a few other XW files.
I've added them to NBSTART.INT. I don't use menus so I don't know if they
are part or not. The items I have in the NBSTART are:
quote
load C:\XW\xw.kbd;*;
load C:\XW\xwu3.u3;*;
load C:\XW\xwuif.uif;*;
load C:\XW\pers.spl;*;
load C:\XW\xwset.dfl;*;
load C:\XW\dict.hyp;*;
load C:\XW\dick.spl;*;
order f;*;
endquote
Some comments: the ORDER ;ine forces directories to be sorted by the
first filed in descending order (the way XW does it. The .SPL files are the
spelling controls and HYP is the hyphenation dictionary.
I've had some non-repeatable program occurrances, when this happens I
resort to XW until NB investigates the use of their program execution
process. They're up to their ears otherwise. The good thing is that it
appears that they are supporting and enhancing - a GREAT leap forward from
TTG.
