Auto-Replace

Dear Carl:

To turn auto-replace on press CTRL+SHIFT+A. The lowercase "r" will appear at
the top right corner of the screen. Now every time you type your abbreviation
and hit the space bar, the abbreviation you type will be replaced with the word
or phrase associated in your personal dictionary. The function call to turn
auto-replace on and off is function AZ.

When auto-replace isn't turned on with CTRL+SHIFT+A, you can use function call
AR to expand your abbreviation. First type your abbreviation in the text, go
to the command line and type FUNC AR, then place your cursor to the right of
your abbreviation and hit F9 to execute. Your text will then get expanded into
the replacement word. An easier way to expand an abbreviation when
auto-replace isn't active is to type the abbreviation and then hit the CTRL
key.
