Re the recent query and responses on transferring text from a Windows (95)
app to Xywin:
FWIW, with Xydos (4.017), when I need to do this I find it easy to use
"Save As" from the File menu and save to a Xywrite file with a ".TXT"
suffix.

Nathan observes that (at least with Xywin) the Clipboard and "Paste"
routine won't work unless Xywrite is opened in a Windows window, but I
never do that. The only problem I notice with my approach is that I get an
"Illegal operation-Will be shut down" msg from Windows, but I save this
transfer until through with the Windows app (usually Write and for
typographic reasons), and ready to quit Write anyway, so tant pis.
