Sorry to say I was merely an XPL programmer for the menus and dialog boxes.
So I can't help sort out the XyWin bugs. But from what I know about the
Editor main file, much is in assembler (maybe no longer, but it was in my
day) and bugs could be elusive. Fixing one could create another, etc. -- even
for a genius like Dave Erickson (co-founder of Xyquest and, essentially,
inventor of XyWrite). The persistence of some of the bugs is due, IMO, to
lack of resources. TTG is a very small company, as was Xyquest. At the time
WordPerfect (remember them?) was beating the pants off us, they had 10 times
as many employees.
