If installation does not proceed despite elimination of TSRs, consider
the possibility that a CD-ROM driver may be loaded in ROM-BIOS
(Read-Only Memory chips with the Basic Input/Output System).
In this case you would have to enter the "Setup" program option
which appears when first starting the computer. Explore it
(without saving any changes) until you find the CD-ROM driver,
then write down the driver information. After doing this, you
delete the driver and save the changes, then install XyWrite,
then reboot, reenter Setup, and put the driver back in, then
reboot again.
