British English prefers the delightful
option. My trusty hard copy of the Oxford
Spelling dictionary specifies bureaux as the
plural of bureau (incidentally it also gives
all the hyphenation points in a word).
However, the British English Microlytics
dictionary flags bureaux and accepts
bureaus, whereas the IBM Signature British
English dictionary accepts both.
I suspect your Italian DICT.SPL will work in
Xy4Dos if you add an expanded memory
parameter to EDITOR.EXE and adjust your
STARTUP.INT in the same way you need to for
the British English DICT.SPL (141K) - see
