vods for mac question for Ed M and other experts

Hi,
I am using Ed M. wineskin wrapper around vdos for my mac laptop. I am running a dos app, not unlike
Xywrite, and certain key sequences like Ctrl-F1 and can't get access to. Anyone know how to get that
keysequence and others like that, to work?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
