XYWIN VS. WPWIN

NS-> Using WPWin 6.1 on a 4DX2-66mhz machine, it takes about 50 sec. to
 -> load from the icon in Windows, and a simple search and replace on a
 -> 200K file takes 20-30 sec. Keep in mind that the same file in XYDOS
 -> would be half the size.

Sounds like you've insufficient memory or perhaps you were
running a number of other programs at the time. My DX2-66 loads
WPWin 6.1 from the icon in about 15 seconds.

Even so, in the greater scheme of things, big deal whether a
minute or a quarter of a minute.
