What, please, is the netiquette about changing a topic
line when, in fact, the subject has drifted away? Who
can do it? When--i.e. at what stage of drift--should it
be done? Ought one make one's initial post under the
new heading include (Was Old heading) in the subject
line? Suppose you think the changed heading not a good
one? Given the tendency of posts on this list to drift,
we really should have some guidelines.
Also recall that Robert's archival search routine is
using these headings, IRRC, to track threads.
