No it won't. Just use Peer Networking (M$ "File and Print Client") via
ethernet cable. Works like a charm. It's part of every modern operating
system -- nothing additional needed. You can read|edit|execute files on the
other computer, print with the other computer's printer, utilize the other
computer's connection to the Net, whatever. Simple, basic stuff. I always
have at least two, and usually 6 or 8, computers running simultaneously, all
transparently communicating with each other. XyWrite can read|write such
"remote" files, too.
