Regarding Eric Van Tassel's comment about needing 386MAX, I would judge that
if XyWrite does not work properly with Microsoft's regular memory manager,
it is buggy. I have not followed all the intricacies of Robert's and
Annie's exchanges on this thread, but I can say that with respect to my own
postings Robert's statement is wrong: ≪Come again? Nobody has ever stated
(before) that there was any problem with eXPanded view mode... "Defend your
methods"? ≫ In my January 18th posting I stated a problem regarding
eXPanded view mode switchover:≪Situation 1) Stay in draft mode, or go into
expanded mode. Then search for a word that is not contained in the
document. After saying "cannot find item" will switch into page-line
mode.≫ I can understand Robert's getting tired of this thread, but it has
not outlived its usefulness until Mr. Holmgren allows the feature of
unbidden switchover to be placed on Nathan's bug list. Jim.
