You can very easily get caught if, for example, you are communicating
simultaneously with three editors from three different magazines about
articles at different stages of progress, who send you pictures to look at,
galleys, page proofs, reviewed drafts, comments by reviewers, scribbled
notes from editors-in-chief, interesting papers, etc., all as attachments,
and since you have been working with them for years, no personal comments,
and they want your reactions/input yesterday.
