This is somewhat tangential to XyWrite, but may be of interest. I've written a GUI wrapper for Grep for Windows, the text-search tool. Searches across multiple files/filespecs are fast. Results can, optionally, be exported to the default Windows text editor or to Microsoft Word as rich text. (The rich-text conversion highlights the search terms(s) and handles basic XyWrite text modes such as bold, underline, italics, etc.) GUI Grep is a compiled AutoIt script. You can download it here: http://xywwweb.ammaze.net/dls/GGREP.ZIP Unzip GGrep.exe into a directory of your choosing and launch it as you would any Windows program. (Note that EXEcutable AutoIt scripts sometimes trigger virus warnings; these are false positives.) Among other things, GGrep.exe is a handy word-lookup tool. There's an expanded collection of plain-text or XyWrite-formatted dictionaries, thesauruses, and other reference works here: http://xywwweb.ammaze.net/dls/LEXFILES.ZIP Enjoy. PS for U2 users: There are some new grep-related tools in the Jumbo U2.
