Dave, you're a few steps ahead of me. I can't get the speller or thesaurus to work, because Xy says the relevant files aren't found, though they're exactly where they ought to be. One question: when you say _make sure all files point to C:_ - exactly what did you change and where? In Advanced/Preferences/Files everything already points to C:\XW or are blank (keyboard file, etc.). What am I missing??
