Yes, U2 uses Xy4's WfW conversion filters. If there is anything more recent that converts XyWrite-like formatting to RTF, I would imagine it's whatever comes with Nota Bene for Windows, which of course costs money. And I am at a disadvantage to help here as I've never used Ansified XyWrite. I know that Edward has written a suite of conversion filters for WordPerfect-DOS files.
