The genius of it (is said to be) how it works for the non-techie user, the user-handholding and hiding away of all the gory details of running a very capable personal computer system. Much more so than what Redmond has achieved -- apparently -- if you consider the propensity for things to go wrong. Where else are you going to go, to get that level of ease for the relatively clueless ? Certainly not with mainstream Linux. Jordan
