more on legacy FF compatibility

Hi Kari,

This will follow up on my email to you of 3/30/19.  Maybe there is nothing to this, but I 
ran into something else the other day.  

    "Please note that GitHub no longer supports old versions of Firefox.
     We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox."

This was not the only website that puts up a complaint -- there have been a few.  
I continue to ignore these objections, and -- so far -- have not been blocked from 
any customary activities.
