Re: keyboard questions



Assuming that was the same and only repair guy who has been mentioned here in the past (I thought he was in New Jersey, for some reason . . . ), I seem to recall that at some point he became controversial for reasons _other than_ this ?  But, if he remains the best option around, there may not be much choice.
If / when using him again, you could certainly specify that any such chip remain undisturbed.  (Didn't one of the Northgate models also have that same fully programmable feature ?)
