Wengier,
Many thanks! See below for the anomaly on upper right. That "\xy\s" sequence should appear after the "1" in the header and should read "C:\xy\s". The display font in this case is CourierHP (aka Dark Courier). Forgive me for inquiring over what must have already covered in your exchanges with Harry B., but I'm trying to replicate vodosplus color settings in dosbox. To wit: COLORS = #C6CED3 #0000aa #000000 #00aaaa #aa0000 #aa00aa #aa5500 #aaaaaa #555555 #5555ff #55ff55 #55ffff #ff5555 #ff55ff #ffff55 #ffffff The result of this (and other settings?; I've forgotten) is black text on an off-white background. And once again, thanks for all your efforts.

As a cross-platform DOS emulator, there are quite a few improvements in this new release compared with the previous version 0.83.7, such as support for TrueType font (TTF) output and on-screen text styles, support for ARM-based M1 Mac and macOS 11 Big Sur, clipboard pasting in macOS SDL1 builds, selectable host keys from the menu (Ctrl+Alt, Ctrl+Shift, etc), enhanced MODE command to change screen dimensions, and many more. You can find the DOSBox-X 0.83.8 release notes here: https://dosbox-x.com/release-0.83.8.html Windows installer and Linux Flatpak packages are officially available to ease the installation, in addition to other packages including portable packages for Windows, macOS and DOS. You will find the official downloads for them from the DOSBox-X homepage: https://dosbox-x.com/ Direct download to the Windows installer (many thanks to Edward Mendelson for code-signing it): dosbox-x-windows-0.83.8-setup.exe And the official Linux Flatpak package is available from the DOSBox-X Flathub page: https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.dosbox_x.DOSBox-X As for macOS, there are now portable packages for both the Intel-based Mac and the new ARM-based Mac. You can find them from the DOSBox-X homepage. Please check out the new release. Note: Please set "output=ttf" (and optionally a TTF font of your choice with ttf.font option) for the TrueType font output. There are many cleanups since the test version I posted earlier. For the on-screen text style feature, please set "ttf.wp=XY" or "ttf.wp=XY4" for XyWrite. Also, as with the previous version you probably want to set "core=dynamic" and "cycles=max" in the config file (dosbox-x.conf) for speed. Thanks a lot for your support! Sincerely,Wengier
