Due to your last explanation, I have been able to surmount many, many customization problems and Xy4 under dosbox-x is now running really well (and at 132 x 43, though I have to use
132x43.com in autoexec.bat).
I can't, however, get italics, bold, or bold-italics, despite having those fonts given as they are supposed to be in the conf file:
ttf.font = V:\fonts\Consola
ttf.fontbold = v:\fonts\Consolab
ttf.fontital = v:\fonts\Consolai
ttf.fontboit = v:\fonts\Consolaz
and despite having ttf.wp set to XY4
Instead of the italics and bold, I get the color coding of Xy's MoDes.
The other problem is that
idkey.pm (and the idkey frame in Xywwweb.u2) won't run and give a strange error:
Unexpected Error: No x:\dosbox-x.kbdsw fbx load file - Abort
Any ideas would be appreciated.
