This post may be of interest only to me, or to the very few who not only use the excellent app on a Mac, but also use the Dvorak keyboard set up.
Since the newest iteration of the app, released by Dr Mendelson maybe around late July, the line "keyb dv103" in the autoexec.conf file, as well as one placed in the new autoexec.bat file created in /Users/"my home directory"/DOSBoxDisk, does in fact bring the Dvorak set up to the dos prompt (actually 4dos prompt), but, in the new version, that does not "bleed over" into the XyWrite setup. This "bleeding over" does occur in the previous version of the app, with the keyb line in the autoexec.conf file (/Applications/DOSBox-X-App.app/Contents/Resources/Files/autoexec.conf). That is, I have a full Dvorak keyboard within XyWrite without having to load a Dvorak printer file.
This puzzles me and I've spent weeks now and then putting the dv103 call in various places in the newer app, without ever getting it to work in XyWrite.
Thanks in advance for advice/instruction/exposure of the inevitable operator error . . .
