No, both versions of your Dox-Box-X app suffer the same problem. I have 
copied the portable standard XyWrite setup in C:\XY4. After starting 
XyWrite and creating a new document, if I press the ; key (American 
layout), for example, it doesn't work. Please attempt to reproduce that.
