Re: Most recent copy of U-2?

Hi, Lisa,

The homepage is:

https://xywrite.org/xywwweb/

The blue box near the top of the page has the download link, a link to detailed setup instructions
(readme-u2.pdf), a link to quick-start instructions (quick-u2.txt), and information about a Windows
utility for keeping U2 up-to-date more-or-less automatically (U2update.exe).

The easiest way to get back up and running is to download U2update.exe, locate it in the directory
with EDITOR.EXE, and, at a Windows command prompt, command "U2UPDATE.EXE /A". Review the
information displayed after the program runs to make sure that you have XyWrite configured to load
U2 at startup. One big advantage of using U2update is that it automatically downloads all of the
U2EXTRAS helper programs and organizes them in a subdirectory of the directory with EDITOR.EXE
called .\U2EXTRAS.

U2 includes routines for converting Xy files to RTF. The latest is frame RTF, but it requires
vDosPlus. There is also SA/RTF. I haven't used these frames recently, but if you need help getting
them to work, just ping me here.
