Re: OT: Passphrase generator

When I ran it (no longer, my writing needs these days are too minimal) it was vDOSPlus or some ancestor.

Thanks, David, and if I may ask one followup: do you run XyWrite on vDOSPlus or Dropbox-x?

Harry,
Just saw your message.
I’m using it on the Mac (and iPhone). Yes, fillst-hand menu will give you an idea.

David,
Thinking of changing to 1Password from Dashlane. Does 1Password fill out forms for you? And are you using it on the PC or a Mac?
Thanks,
Harry

Just FYI here’s a screenshot of what 1Password offers by way of customization: <image.png>

I don't know 1password, but I wouldn't think so, David. I didn't have a PP generator, and had some fun rollingeeper, Bitwarden, and Proton (which is my password manager). They all seem to produce long phrases, using common words. Mine generates shorter phrases, using a combination of uncommon/weird words, including proper names, and random numbers. Sort of a password/phrase hybrid. Also, it generates 15 at a time, so you can choose or mix-and-match.
