to the point of being a handy, lightweight Windows editor, with
useful options. Also using Opus 4.7 for development, by the way.

something like Wine, for Windows emulation, then run VDP on top of
that. For what it's worth, I tried running XyWrite under DOSBox-X
for Linux some time ago, with no joy. vDosPlus is the way to go,
IMO, if you can get it running.
