Good news, Martin. I was able to address both issues with Claude straight away.
A maximized window on exit is now restored on restart.
As to the user interface, the top-level menu is hard wired, but the rest of
Menus:
Options -> UI font size ...
Options -> UI scale (restart for full effect)
Commands:
UIFONT n n = point size
UISCALE n n in range 1.00 and up (2 probably the highest usable setting)
