Since Dir Manager is a U2 add-on, your suggestion raises an opportunity to see whether something similar could be cooked up for `user.qnu`. I came up with DR (see below). Paste it into `user.qnu` and command `RELOADLIB`. The usage is: DR [/dir_switch(es)] [filespec1][ filespec2 ...] Start typing a filename and DR should take you there. Currently there are four actions supported: <Enter> opens the highlighted file for editing; <F1> does ChDir on a directory name; <F2> launches a program or opens the file in its associated application (.pdf, .txt, .mp4, etc., etc.); and <F3> runs the command and imports the output into QuickNotes. It's not perfect, but it generally works here. DR requires the latest iteration of QuickNotes, so be sure to update before trying it: Download: https://ammaze.net/xywwweb/dls/quicknotes.zip --- SUB dr ENDSUB --- -- Carl Distefano cld@xxxxxxxxxx
