It will. QuickNotes has one, too: quicknotes.config.json. And I've just added SaveCfg and LoadCfg
commands (and corresponding menu options), so you can save and reload configurations on the fly:

My immediate motivation was to be able to swap screen colors at will, depending on my mood and the
ambient lighting. I have several 4-line json files for this purpose:
blue.json: Gray/white text on midnight blue:
{
"custom_fg": "#8d8dba",
"custom_bg": "#090624"
}
foolscap.json: Dark text on yellow
{
"custom_fg": "#151314",
"custom_bg": "#d3d6a3"
}
skyblue.json: Midnight blue text on sky blue:
{
"custom_fg": "#000024",
"custom_bg": "#b7c9db"
}
gray.json: Black text on medium gray:
{
"custom_fg": "#000000",
"custom_bg": "#a3a5ab"
}
tan.json: Dark blue text on tan:
{
"custom_fg": "#05015c",
"custom_bg": "#bdaf9f"
}
green.json: IBM green on black:
{
"custom_fg": "#53a259",
"custom_bg": "#000000"
}
Needless to say, I'm planning for XyScript to have all of this flexibility,
Getting back to the topic of this thread: I haven't yet heard from any potential Mac testers. If you
know of anyone -- whether or not a subscriber to this list -- who might be willing, by all means put
them in touch with me.
