Create a new directory someplace, say xyscript and change to it. mkdir xyscript cd xyscript 2. Copy the zip into that directory. cp (download location)/linux-x86_64.zip . My download location is '/home/bnewell/Downloads' --- yours is whatever it is. 3. Unzip it. unzip linux-x86_64.zip 4. Make xyscript executable chmod 755 xyscript 5.
