I'm spending a lot of time on the appearance. I'm using the GUI. It would greatly shorten my work time if the selected windows would stay open and unchanged while I'm experimenting, rather than having to start the touchy 3-level drill down (and across) over again each time. Also, if it can't find a file (like startup.xpl or a cfg file) I'd appreciate an error message. (Oh, is there one in the status line? It's so far down that I rarely look at it. Is there a way to move the status line back to where it was in XyWrite (under the CMline)? A great service to mankind you've done here, Carl.
