Re: Keyboard in XyScript

Didn't make a difference. I already had $XSDR loaded by startup. Carl, recently you posted a command to issue at the XS prompt that would tell me if the kbd file was loaded—would you send that again? I've lost it. With thanks . . . FW

I just launch (via an i3 shortcut key) with my executable path (yours will differ):

/usr/local/share/xyscript/xyscript

which makes sure the "cd $XSDIR" in the startup.xpl works correctly.  The keyboard file is then easily loaded if you have the correct name which as delivered in the Linux version would be

loadkbd xyscript-default.kbd

or a custom keyboard or whatever you wish.

By the way an unrelated idea that I use--- if you want to run xyscript in al

XV launchdir pwd
cd $XSDIR

and as the very last line of startup.xpl

cd $launchdir
