Re: XyScript v0.1.6 is here!

'Cannot finalize [path to .kbd]: Permission denied (os error 13)'
That's what came up when I tried to save the altered kbd file (on ctrl-shift Q), whether I typed it manually or saved it from the phrase copied from the email. (Trust = 1 in Startup.)

Yes, you can make the command history persist over sessions. There are two ways, global and targeted. The global way makes *all* config settings persist across sessions. In startup.xpl, add these two lines (change 'my.cfg' to whatever you like):

LoadCfg $XSDIR/my.cfg
AutoCfg $XSDIR/my.cfg

The targeted way saves the command history only. You'll need a dedicated routine for quitting XyScript, assigned to a key or saved as a library routine, plus a line in startup.xpl. So, for example, in the KBD file:

nn=SaveCM $XSDIR/cm-history.xpl;QUIT

And in startup.xpl:

RUN $XSDIR/cm-history.xpl

Hope this helps.
