I'm taking a stab in the dark here, but it sounds like a write permission is missing from either your KBD file or cm-history.xpl (if that's the name of the file you're using to store the command history). I suggesting trying either or both of the following commands from the XyScript command line (changing the filenames as necessary):
X chmod u+w $XSDIR/cm-history.xpl
X chmod u+w $XSDIR/my.kbd
Hopefully the status line will report "exit code 0" after each ofe the "os error 13" problem. But again, I'm just guessing.
