Pine has been ported to Windows, and there is even an older version
for DOS. See http://www.washington.edu/pine/pc-pine/. Never used
it myself, so I can't comment on its features.



As I recall it is exceedingly basic; it would be useless
for most email today because it only recognizes
pure ascii -- unless it has changed drastically.
I highly recommend Eudora for Win and Mac. I
now used it in sponsored mode; the sponsoring is
so discreet I actually welcome it.
