MULTI-LABELS

Brian: Here's a bunch of stuff to (hopefully!) unravel this perplexing problem.
To refresh your memory - using Application Note #149, I set about creating
2-column labels. I end up with address #1 & #2 printing fine, but then the
third address prints on the second label of the second column (instead of on
the third label of the first column). Furthermore, the seventh label in the
first column, and the first label in the second column are skipped altogether.
Sometimes the seventh label in both columns prints too long, and other
unpredictable stuff happens. Argh! The two SET files include one with the PI
command, the other without. The ADDRESS.LAB is the file I TYPEF with to get
rid of unwanted fields. THe PRO2P.PRN is my printer file. I've also sent
copies of the programs I've written in hopes of automating this procedure
through our extensive xyhelp menu here at OTA. Maybe something in the programs
is making everything go haywire? Note that FIXCR is used to take out nasty
stuff that might be there - others things, like references to other help menus
should be inconsequential. There's also a reference to REPEAT.PGM. Thanks in
advance for the time you spend on this. I hope to hear from you soon (via the
info line is fine)! Brenda H., OTA/US Congress
