Harry, I'm sorry to bother you with a request that you nclose the acyual
program in a new message to me, but the PC which I use to call from has no
printer and besides, I always prefer to have a file, etc., which actually
manifests the problem.

P.S. I write many programs which trap errors, and can't say that I've
encounterd any problems with straight forward code such as yours...
